For almost a year, Keyword Spy have been email spamming both my personal email address and Sphinn (on a weekly basis), regurgitating announcements about its launch and features. The name of “Kelly” appears to be a pseudonym, as any emails to her personal email address go unanswered.
If you’re a KeywordSpy customer or are considering using KeywordSpy.com for competitor analysis, please boycott them for attacking the industry which they’re meant to support. You can find a much better product at Spyfu (http://www.spyfu.com/) anyhow, so there’s no excuse for using these muppets.
A loss of client base is the only way they’ll learn - don’t s**t in your own backyard!

Agreed.
They drive me bloody nuts, it makes no sense too, they are trying to market themselves to the SEO/Web Design market, and I would of thought we are the people most likely to react badly to spam.
I seem to be getting emails directly to my email and also they are sending them via our contact forms.

Yep. Same scenario here. Great to see someone else in the same boat, although they did want me to write about them at my blog on a few posts that Kelly had “hand-picked”. Extremely irritating, great to see Sidra and the team getting much deserved support.

I’m a big advocate for SpyFu and am pretty surprised to see KeywordSpy would actually “advertise” in such a spammy way. I agree, we should definitely boycott them…their methods should not be condoned!

why cant they just blog it as most of the crap i get sent seems to relate to existing users
