Ayima is currently looking for a SQL Reporting Developer to strengthen our team. We are looking for a smart, quick thinking and thorough individual who wants to develop their knowledge in this challenging industry.
The job holder will be responsible for the following primary requirements:
- To develop business information using all data available in our current business databases
- To help develop new facilities to gather business information
- Analyse, present and comment on the results of the data extraction
- To develop reports to a high standard, to enable the business to make financial, strategic and commercial decisions based on the results
- Assist in the maintenance and development of the server farm.
- It is essential that the candidates can demonstrate core competencies in writing advanced SQL queries.
In addition, experience of the following is desirable:
- MySQL and/or SQL server
- Java (Object Orientated Programming)
- Linux
- Apache, PHP, HTML & JavaScript
- Search Engine Optimisation
Personal characteristics are likely to include the following:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent numerical & analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present it in a clear, concise and logical format
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Ability to manage workload and time according to deadlines set
- Keenness to develop and drive the business reporting forward by supporting key decision makers
- Experience of working within a busy department
- Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks
Remuneration is £25K-£35K + 20 days holidays per year and statutory holidays + private health care.
